Designing intuitive tools that simplify complex work.

Designing intuitive tools that simplify complex work.

I thrive in complex, specialised B2B environments, translating deep domain knowledge into intuitive workflows. I turn insights into action through fast iteration, candidly questioning assumptions, and focusing on what delivers real value to users.

Turning insights into action

When the problem is messy, ambiguous, and business-critical, I step in as a hands-on designer to cut through complexity and get things moving. I align teams, surface what really matters to users, and use prototypes to create momentum and push toward agreed business outcomes.

AI-first — I leverage AI to accelerate the whole process so we reach outcomes sooner.

Prototyping — I combine research and data to turn uncertainty into a clear path forward.

Co-creation — I bring stakeholders in early so we move forward and learn together.

Craft — I design products that feel intuitive because they map to the way people think.

Moving fast, together

If you’re looking for a designer who talks to users, takes risks, and ships instead of waiting for more resources or more process, you’ll enjoy working together.

Marc was one of the best hiring decisions I've made. I loved working with him, especially when pair designing. His thoughtfulness and willingness to explore ideas and really figure out what would work for users in a complex space made ever conversation fun and end up in a much better place.

Marc is a talented designer. His exploration, critical feedback and collaborative design approach was very inspiring to see in action. He taught me the value of standing up for the user's needs and challenging others to bring the very best product and experiences to the people.

A nonlinear path

I came to design later than most. After studying mathematics and business, I began my career in investment banking, drawn by a fascination with markets and how our financial system works. But I missed the sense of creativity and tangible impact that comes from building something people actually use. I was drawn instead toward the energy of startups — to the idea of disruption through technology, something I’d been passionate about since my teenage years programming games on a TI-89 calculator.

Moving into tech as a Product Manager changed everything. I started sketching wireframes in Balsamiq, learning from engineers and designers, and discovered the power of an iterative, human-centred, and collaborative process. Reading The Design of Everyday Things put words to what I’d been experiencing. Design connects how people think with how technology works. Learning Sketch soon after gave me a way to channel that creativity into action.

Today, I’m still learning. I’ve gone from Sketch to Figma to Framer and Webflow, and now to pushing code to production with Cursor. Lately, I’ve been exploring how to build AI agents with Make and n8n, fascinated by how large language models can turn workflows into intelligent systems. I see this as the next frontier for designers: shaping experiences where humans and agents collaborate seamlessly. I want to help shape the future rather than watch it happen.

I came to design later than most. After studying mathematics and business, my career began in investment banking, a world of spreadsheets, models, and dull offices. I had the analytical mind for it, but I couldn’t find motivation without purpose or impact. Being creative by nature, I found the work too rigid, the management too hierarchical, and the outcomes too distant. I was drawn instead to the energy of startups, to the idea of disruption through technology — something that had fascinated me since my teenage years programming games on a TI-89 calculator.

Moving into tech as a Product Manager changed everything. I started sketching wireframes in Balsamiq, learning from engineers and designers, and realised design isn’t about how things look, it’s about how they work. Reading The Design of Everyday Things put words to what I’d been feeling all along: that design is problem-solving for practical purposes. Learning Sketch soon after felt like discovering a new language — one that finally connected analysis with creativity.

The path wasn’t linear, but it felt inevitable. It shaped how I approach design today: with empathy for how people think and work, curiosity about the systems around them, and a belief that the best tools are the ones that quietly make life easier.

I’m a father of two boys, an enthusiast for photography, natural wines, hiking and an avid runner. When I’m not designing, I'm probably building LEGO with my sons, cooking, or watching a sci-fi show. I’ve been a Londoner since 2009 but whenever we can, my partner and I are traveling to discover new culinary experience or immerse ourselves in nature.
